Meet Dr. John Deese

Dr. Deese is a native of North Carolina. He has a practice in Pembroke, NC and in the Cotswald neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. Deese graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, GA and has over 20 years of chiropractic experience.

Dr. Deese is the chiropractor to the UNC-Pembroke Wrestling Team. He travels with the team to national competitions and treats some of the best collegiate athletes in the country.

After being introduced to Y2 Yoga in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Deese began to see improvements in flexibility and a reduction of stress in his own body while working with patients. He decided to partner with Y2 Yoga by establishing his Charlotte practice on the second floor of this incredible studio.

There, Dr. Deese offers chiropractic and massage services for anyone who wants to elevate their health.

Dr Deese spent a large amount of time actually examining me, listening to me, and treating me… He made me feel like he actually cared about me, and better yet I felt an immediate relief in my symptoms… He literally adjusted me from my head to my feet, I went in wanting relief from mid area back pain, but came out feeling better all over… He was recommended to me from a retired NFL player, apparently many former athletes see him, and I can see why…

Genuine guy and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable and is passionate about what he does. He's helped me get back on the football field after 1yr of crippling pain. I highly recommend Dr.Deese!

I started seeing Dr Deese a few months back. I had several ear infections in a short period of time and someone told me that the alignment of my neck had to do a lot with that. I tried a few different chiropractors, but I really felt more comfortable with Dr Deese's adjustments. I noticed that I slept much better and that I hadn't gotten any respiratory infections nor ear infections. I also noticed a huge difference in my physical performance, I feel like I recover faster and that my muscles are more responsive when I exercise.

I have a very busy schedule, and travel for work constantly. Ive seen many Chiropractors looking to alleviate lower back pain, I struggle with from the constant travel, and sleepless nights that accompany said pain. Dr. Deese firstly won me over by accommodating my schedule, to the point he actually met me at the office on a Saturday afternoon, to see me before I left for a work trip. I knew from the first few minutes this was not a "regular" Chiropractor, while others ive seen simply went through motions, and didnt spend more than 5 minutes evaluating and treating me, Dr. Deese was the complete opposite. Dr. Deese provided me with an extensive exam, then followed the exam with a series of adjustments that changed my life. Dr. Deese didnt just focus on my lower back, he adjusted my body, my knees, my ankles, everything... This was an experience... For the first time in memory im now traveiling pain free and actually getting sleep... Im so thankful I found this place...

Chiropractic services provided by Dr. Deese are the best. He makes it a friendly and family environment. He gets to know his patients and treats all of them as if they are his own family. By far one of the best chiropractors I have ever used (and being a former Division I athlete and college coach I have seen many chiropractors).
